Gull Talk

OutdoorWednesdaybutton54333333333332

I am linking to the Outdoor Wednesday party at A Southern Day Dreamer.   Nothing is blooming in my yard yet so I decided  to share with you some pictures my hubby took this past week while working in south Louisiana.

It’s a baby pelican!     I have never seen a baby before.

A beak only a mother could love.

Pelicans have always reminded me of prehistoric creatures.    They are so regal as they soar through the air seeking their prey in the water below.

I love this photo of the seagulls on the pilings and the water sparkling like diamonds in the sun.

He said the sea gulls were real social…they were sitting in a line squawking with each other.    Gull talk.

Looking at these pictures makes me want to head to the beach.   How about you….ready to go pelican and gull watching?

Pelican's are so fun to feed when on a fishing boat in Florida. They actually come and sit on the boat wanting more fish. They are so adorable.
