Beach Therapy

Since I was in serious need of some sand between the toes therapy, my sweet hubby and I headed to Gulf Shores, AL for the weekend.    We hoped to catch the sunrise over the beach but had to settle for taking this picture from the car.    Can you see the fog on the ground?

This cute little sandpiper greeted us when we arrived at the beach.    Actually he didn’t pay one bit of attention to us.

Anyone know what these yellow flowers are?   They must be hardy if they grow in the sand.

The lovely day concluded with the supermoon lighting up the water.

“Well, it's a marvelous night for a moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies”….Van Morrison

Thanks for visiting!

What a blessing to live so near the ocean. Stuck here in land-locked Ohio, hours away from any real body of water. Your pictures are just beautiful and make me long for the sound of waves crashing on the beach. Newest follower.
