Shameful to Shabby

On my way into work last month, I spotted a bedside table  in the trash.    Since I was running late, I called my sweet hubby who hopped onto his white horse into his white truck and rescued the pathetic little thing.

After a good sanding and scraping, two coats of white paint, and a new drawer pull, the table has been revived and is ready for action in the bedroom.

I forgot to take a picture before we started sanding but let me tell you it wouldn’t have been a pretty one.   The table was covered with water stains and sticky tape and looked much worse than the picture below.  It truly was in a shameful state.

Thank you for stopping by to view my roadside rescue and makeover.
