Icicle Day

Yesterday the town shut down because we had icicles everywhere.     I kid you not.     The 4 to 6 inches snow that was predicted never happened.      Instead we got icicles.    But that is ok.     I don’t mind having an Icicle Day off from work.      No complaints here.      I will share a few pictures of the icicles at my house since there are no tranquil, snow covered landscapes to show.

Here is the  holly bush in my front yard…you can see some of the red holly berries behind the ice.

A random icicle covered bush in the yard.

Even our cars had icicles on them.

Thank you for visiting my icicle covered igloo home today.    I am linking to All Things Inspired @ All Things Heart and Home.

WOW!! You did get ice. We had 5-6 inches of snow here in Pa. and i had to drive to work in it last night because hospitals don't shut down unfortunately ! But the roads were clear on my way this morning!

Hugs,
Debbie

That really looks beautiful hanging from your house and holly bush. We got a couple inches of snow, but not enough for a snow day :(
Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on my curtains. Have a great day!

OMG, they are huge! We don't usually get icicle like that here in Southern Maryland but we do get snow. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a sweet comment about my winter decor. I've enjoyed my visit here and I am now following yours.

Have a wonderful day,
Gail
