This past weekend my husband and I attended the funeral of his elderly uncle in the small town of Beauregard, Mississippi. After the service, we took a stroll through the old cemetery.
The arched brick mausoleum surrounded by the wrought iron fence caught my eye right away.
Notice the weathered cross hanging from the century old fence.
They don’t make them like this anymore, do they?
The weekend was beautiful but yesterday it was gloomy with intermittent rain. Totally worth it though because this was the scene right before darkness fell. The perfect end to a lousy day.
Peace and blessings,
Marlee

I am awed by the rainbow curved over the pink cloud. Really nice capture.
