On my way to the office Friday morning I stopped at a yard sale even though I knew it would make me late to work. Usually I am a conscientious worker, but tempt me with a yard sale and all bets are off.
For some time now, I have wanted to replace this colorful fruity light fixture that came with the house but haven’t had much luck finding the “perfect” one.
And if I hadn’t stopped at that yard sale, I wouldn’t have found the replacement which is shown here in the back of my car. The white shabby color was just what I wanted and at the low price of $25.00, I knew this was the one. I cleaned it up, wrapped it in the crystals that came with it (minus the pink roses), and then my handy hubby installed it for me.
The glass crystals sparkle in the light and help with the open airy feeling I am trying to create in here.
Thank you for visiting today!

I love your new chandelier. It's beautiful. I, too, have a fruity dining room light fixture. I picked it out 34 years ago. I really liked it then, but not so much now. I wish I would come across a treasure like you did. Your new chandelier is just what I have pictured in my imagination.
