Our Masked Visitors

Imagine my surprise when I looked out in the back yard and saw these little masked birds frolicking in the bird bath!   I believe they are waxwings and were just passing through the area when they spotted our luxurious accommodations.

Note the yellow tipped tail on this one that I caught in flight.

Looks like most of the guests have left the premises.

Until next time,  take care and please feed the birds and provide water for them.  You never know who might show up.

The waxwings and I are joining the Outdoor Wednesday party at A Southern Day Dreamer.

I'm so happy you had your camera close by! Great photos of the little waxwings. I hope they stop by here, I'll provide plenty of water for their journey.
